Maymester 2013

Pura Vida, Spanish for “pure life,” is Costa Rica’s national greeting. It represents a respect for nature, for friends and good company, as well as an appreciation for life’s mysteries, both simple and profound.

In May of 2013, seventeen students from the University of Georgia travelled to Costa Rica. Here is a document (Latin: “to teach the mind”) and record (“bring back to the heart”) of their UGA Vida experience.
